Victoria bishop, head coach middle school girls basketball

Victoria E. Bishop is a native of Shreveport, Louisiana. This will be Ms. Bishop's first year at Thrive Academy and her first year serving as a member of the bulldog athletic family. She is a  graduate of Southern University and A & M College and she is also a former Southern University track and field athlete. She has more than five years of coaching experience with girls basketball and track. This athletic season, she will be serving as the head coach of middle school girls basketball. Geoffrey griffin, head coach middle school boys basketball

Coach Griffin is currently in his first year as the Thrive Academy Head Baseball and Boys Middle School Basketball Coach. He is a 2002 Southern Lab High School alum and previously coached the baseball program at his alma-mater for 3 seasons; one as the varsity assistant coach, the next as middle school head coach, and the last as the varsity head coach. During his tenure as head coach, he had four players selected to all-district; with one receiving an athletic scholarship to play at the collegiate level. Coach Griffin has a Bachelors Degree from Grambling State University. mark perry, head coach middle school girls and boys track

Coach Mark Perry is a native of Grenada, Mississippi where he competed in high school football and track. Following high school, Coach Perry attended Jackson State University where he worked with the football program between 1992-1994 which was the start of his interest in coaching. While working at his Masters of Public Administration at Southern University, he coached high school football, track and baseball at Pointe Coupee Central High School and later served as a volunteer football coach at St. Helena High School. He is in his third year serving as head track coach, and will also serve the defensive coordinator for the Bulldog football team.
